The author explores the indigenous view through its linguistic cues. He suggests that the culture reveals three strands of natural law: one based on physical needs, another on the sociality of human nature, and a third on personal authenticity. He then explores the implications of the tri-dimensional construct on ethical notions of teleology, moral agency, sinfulness and its theological reinterpretation.
