This is a pastoral tool developed by the Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life to respond to the desire of Pope Francis for “new paths” for preparation for marriage. This document includes all the stages of the sacramental journey: preparation for marriage; the solemnization of marriage; and support especially for the first years of married life by way of accompaniment to help the couple to go through “crises and moments of discouragement.”
